Recently, I presented a lecture about the development of Freemasonry in English-speaking North America – both Canada and USA – to a group of Hungarian researchers of Freemasonry. They were interested in everything from the first lodges and Grand Lodges to the present days Observant movement and to the strangest phenomenon of all: the Prince Hall Masonry. Few people are aware even of its existence… It was an interesting experience to approach the Craft life we have here from a different historical perspective.
